Questions Jesus Asked Bible Study

Jesus often asked questions to prove that what He said made sense. For instance, in Matthew 6:25 Jesus made this significant statement, “Do not worry about your life.” To validate this teaching, He followed it with a series of questions in verses 25–27, saying: “Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?… Are you not of more value than [the birds of the air]? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” When we correctly answer Jesus’ questions we will also agree with His original premise that worrying is pointless. Other examples of some of the validating questions Jesus asked are found in Luke 6:27–34 and 9:23–25.
